I got a great view of the Space Station through my telescope. It was very hard to track as it was moving so fast but I managed to see the shape of it as a small white "H". Amazing. But anyway, I noticed another light moving in front of it at the same speed and trajectory. Are they scheduled to dock with another spacecraft tonight does anyone know? I waited for the second appearance at 12 and before it dissapeared into the earths shadow, there were two other whight lights along with it in a triangular formation. Did anyone else notice this? Seen from Roscommon.

Yes. i did
Just after they went into the Earth's shadow and just below appeared 3 bright star like objects in a wide triangle slowly moving north from what I thought maybe not. The brightest at least mag -2 other two were probably 0 mag and +1. Most unusual sight.
Myself and my father spotted them but they lasted no more than 10 seconds before disappearing probably into the Earth's shadow also.
I've seen the USAF NOSS triplet before but certainly not under super moon conditions as they appear just within naked eye visibility.
Any one else see this in Ireland? or anyone with satellite tracking might find out what these were?
Seen in County Mayo
