Hi all.
I have the Gibbous Moon at present in my 28mm eyepiece which has a magnification of 40X. I see double star 20 Geminorun to its southwest. The Moon will occult it at about 21.55 UT. I trust some will see it. Component A is magnitude 6.3, B is 6.8. The separation is 20" and the PA is 211 degrees.
Time for me to head back out!
Aubrey.

Hello again.
It is was lovely to see the 11 day old Gibbous Moon occulting no less than 3 stars on Saturday night . I ended up using the 112X eyepiece. First off was TYC 1333 995 (magnitude 7.9) disappearing at 21.38 UT. Then came the turn of 20 Geminorum. Component B went at 21.54; then A disappeared at 21.55 UT.
I also spotted a new fault -Rupes Toscanelli which heads north of the crater Aristarchus.
Earlier I observed Comet Lovejoy 5 degrees east of double star Almach.
Thanks for reading.
Aubrey.
