Crater is a rather modest constellation, with no really bright stars and few deep sky objects. It's tally of doubles is rather poor too, I checked 20 or so in which the primary is at least magnitude 9 and the secondary at least magnitude 10, and only the following were particularly noteworthy. Thanks for reading, Mike.
Dbl: H177 AB, RA 11:02:06, Dec -15:41:32, Mag1 8.6, Mag2 8.9, Sep 2.9".
2015-04-21, C11, 13mm Hyperion, 215x, Rating 4. Attractive pair of deep golden stars, mildly unequal and close at 215x.
Dbl: A132 AB, RA 10:53:19, Dec -10:45:12, Mag1 8.9, Mag2 9.6, Sep 4.4".
2015-04-21, C11, 13mm Hyperion, 215x, Rating 3. Faint, mildly unequal, yellow, white pair, nicely split at 215x.
Dbl: A1770 AB,C, RA 10:57:31, Dec -11:05:21, Mag1 8.6, Mag2 9.4, Sep 4.5".
2015-04-21, C11, 13mm Hyperion, 215x, Rating 3. Mildly unequal yellow suns, nicely separated at 215x.
Dbl: STF1509 AB, RA 11:06:30, Dec -13:25:03, Mag1 7.4, Mag2 9.4, Sep 33.2".
2015-04-21, C11, 55mm TV Plossl, 51x, Rating 3. Golden orange primary, well separated from a fainter, paler secondary at 50x.
Dbl: STF1530 AB, RA 11:19:44, Dec -06:53:55, Mag1 8.6, Mag2 8.9, Sep 7.7".
2015-04-21, C11, 55mm TV Plossl, 51x, Rating 3. Almost identical yellow stars, lovely and close at 50x.
Dbl: Crt, 15 Crt AB, RA 11:24:53, Dec -17:41:03, Mag1 4.1, Mag2 7.9, Sep 5.3".
2015-04-21, C11, 13mm Hyperion, 215x, Rating 3. Brilliant white star, nicely separated from a much fainter yellowish companion at 215x. The WDS data are misleading, the secondary is actually magnitude 9 to 10.
Dbl: HJ4479 AB, RA 11:53:20, Dec -24:35:15, Mag1 8.9, Mag2 9.9, Sep 7.5".
2015-04-21, C11, 55mm TV Plossl, 51x, Rating 3. Mildly unequal stars, very close at 50x, forming a right angle triangle with neighbouring field stars. Low, and viewed through bushes, so couldn't judge the colours.

Hi,
I use a programme called AstroPlanner to compile lists of objects in advance, and to control the mount and record my notes during observation sessions. AstroPlanner includes a large number of catalogues from which possible targets can be selected, and I use the Washington Double Star (WDS) catalogue to get the data for double stars. I'd be happy to give more details if you are interested.
