Hi all,

I was contacted with a bollide (fireball) report this evening from a man on the Laois/Carlow border. His details of the sighting are:

Around 22:50hrs, travelling southeast to northeast, not very fast ( for a typical meteor), large, intensely bluish-white streak

Did anyone else hear from someone - or saw it themselves?

Would that have been Sunday or Monday night, Seanie?
I trust it was not an Iridium Flare. They seem to occur in the western sky after sunset at the moment. But you do state that this bolide was seen in the eastern sky.
