Hi Everyone,
you may remember I recently bought an Rspec Star Analyser, so I decided to give it a try the other night on Neptune. Here are my results:
Taken with a Meade LXD75 6", Canon 100D and Star analyser 100l/mm
Methane absorption lines are clearly visible and possibly some Ammonia absorption lines.

Looks good John.
Out of curiosity, did you calibrate it with the star Vega?

Thanks Michael, yes I did but I must say it was not very accurate as there were two absorption features where the H Balmer line (described in the calibration procedure) should have been, so I just picked the zero order star and one of the features, seemed to work out well as Methane definitely appears as absorption around 620 angstroms
