Supermoon

Well a few cloud breaks here in the south so grabbed a pic with the camcorder - not that there was any difference noticeable visually of course -

We saw the Supermoon from our doorstep quite a few times on Monday night despite 80% of the sky had plenty of cloud throughout the night.

Fine image of the perigee-syzygy of the Earth–Moon–Sun system. This is another one in December when the moon will be 1,952 km (0.5%) further away from the Earth than this one.
