I'm pretty sure Sirius B is caught in the glare at this scale Aubrey. The star at 8 o'c is further away than some of the other stars, but there wouldn't be anything closer to Sirius visible in a 10" scope. Here's a pic I took in 2016 through an 8 inch and the Pup is similarly drowned out in the glare -
