Very many thanks for your nice comment, and for your suggestion of using binoculars and a tripod to sketch M45.
Not only will the Pleiades look amazing through 10 X 50s as I'll have wider FOV, but it will also require fewer manual adjustments of the eyepiece. Meaning, more time spent sketching the object.
