Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

For the first time I managed to observe Venus in daylight. With the Sun behind the house I caught it in 10x50 binoculars. 20x90 binoculars showed it well, I am not sure if I saw the gibbous phase. It was certainly much easier to observe than when the sun sets as the glare is greatly reduced.

Hi Paul,
Very well done on observing Venus during daylight. For the past two evenings it has looked magnificent blazing away above us.
Clear skies,
Darren.
