I would have to agree with you that those stars around 6 Bootis do indeed look similar to a hatchet. Good catch it is for sure.
I've just checked on my Guide 9.1 DVD.
6 Bootis appears to be the handle of the hatchet.

Clear and sunny conditions are due to return on next Monday.
So maybe Monday night might be clear.
