Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Hi all
Using Alphard as a starting point to explore Crater, I noticed that there was a pattern of stars close by Alphard. In my refractor they appeared as a backwards questions mark, in Uranometria the asterism appears the correct way around. It consists of 6 stars of 8th and 9th magnitude.
The co-ordinates are 09hrs 31m RA and -08.30 Dec.
The next clear night, perhaps someone could check it out.

Hi Paul,
Very many thanks for drawing attention to this asterism. Provided that I can see this area of the night sky from my back garden (lots of obstacles to obscure the Southern sky), I'll try to take a look at it over the coming week.
Clear skies,
Darren.
