fireballs in the bull was created by cjodonoghue
good morrow gentle men and women'
fireball across the face of taurus 1.55am monday7 nov
tracking right to left and a straight trajectory ,a slow movin yellow round flare lasting about 2/3rds of a second time.light extended either side of bulls head, very brilliant at least 2 mags brighter than any star.
location clonfert galway

at 00:15 this morning, I was out doing some astrophotography. I glanced up and saw THE most amazing fireball ever. Approx mag -12 to -13 (easily brighter than the full moon). It moved through taurus quite slowly from east to west, leaving a twisting smoke train behind it. Then it exploded and briefly the sky lit up bright blue. after the explosion two parts of the fireball continued at around mag -8 until they faded and left two twisty tails. I watched the tails for up to a minute afterwards until they dissapated. I listened for any sound but right at the wrong moment a train went past :x

This was easily the best fireball i have ever seen. Even better than the geminid I saw about ten years ago which cast shadows!!

You should have imaged the smoke trail would have look nice on an exposure :D
