Beta Tauri and the Moon was created by johnflannery
get outside now folks and have a look at magnitude 1.7 Beta Tauri close to the Moon. You might have to block the glare of the Moon to see it at first. No hints as to where the star is in relation to the Moon . . .

Yep, noticed the conjunction myself last night when out at the shops, and wondered what the star was. Very nice. :)
