As the sky was in top form at dusk i decided to go for a walk up the road to find a suitable location to have a look at Mercury. It was bitterly cold and that one cloud bank seemed to take forever to drift away to the west however at 18.45 Mercury appeared in a growing clear spell in the SW and i quickly set up my camera and tripod and managed 2 captures...

Nice one Martin,
I was going to give it a go also, but horizon cloud always seemed to block the way.
