Call for interest was created by albertw
Hi folks,
I was chatting to John yesterday and we dont have a clear idea of how many people are seriously interested in attempting the Messier Challenge in Turkey.
So can you please reply here if you are interested in staying up all night looking for 100+ fuzzy objects?
Depending on the numbers we can then work out whether we need to hire cars etc.
Cheers,
~Al

Abert,
add a Yes/No poll, so that you can have numbers at a glance instead of numerous replies. Don't forget to mention it to the Yahoo group too. Perhaps give the direct link to this thread for them on those boards?

I'm definitely on for it, it would make a fantastic addition to the eclipse trip, AND we'll also get to see Centaurus A, Omega Centauri and many other DSOs due to the improved southern horizon, presuming the weather is on our side.

I've a fairly comprehensive set of charts/notes done up for the Marathon. I'll put together the info tomorrow into a pdf that I will post up for download . . . just have to celebrate a certain match tonight!
