Aurora observed here at 22.00 expanding 100* in length and 25* in height in the NW - N sky sector for a duration of 5 mins. Bright green band with mulitple purple rays. Great display! All images ISO800/15 secs and noisy...

Martin - they're great images. Wish I could see that from here but North of me is a ton of houses, pylons, shops...

Clear Skies here all night, but t 3 times (23:40, 02:10, and 04:13) there was no hint of an aurora. Moon was bloody bright though.....

Thanks guys..it was a good but short show. I never seen any further activity for the rest of the night. It got the heart pumping when it suddenly appeared.
