Did anyone else see... satellite 23.35

Hi folks,

As I was setting up last night about 23.35 a bright satellite, about mag -1 raced over my head in moving from NW to SE. Unusually bright for a satellite and really quite fast.

Decided to check it out on heavens above and couldn't find anything.

Any ideas?

Saw it myself while out observing. I haven't checked for anything online, so I assumed it could have been the ISS. Shortly before it, there was an Iridium Flare, of about magnitude +1 in the west.

Had a good look on Heavens Above Seanie, couldn't find a thing, and it wasn't the ISS.

My eyes hadn't adjusted yet it really stood out. Very bright.

Cue the Twilight Zone music...

Perhaps a military satellite?

No, but it is summer, so you get a lot more satellites at this time of year. Also since you can catch satellites in lower altitudes, you will see more of the fast moving ones than normal.
