Two good evenings observing was created by voyager
Well, that's two evenings observing where I managed to catch the outer two planets of the solar system and a comet all with my 10x50 binoculars!
Hope this good weather keeps up!
Full reports of my exploits here: www.bartbusschots.ie/blog/?p=316 and www.bartbusschots.ie/blog/?p=317
Hope others are getting as much enjoyment out of these rare clear nights!

Great stuff bart.
Nice reports. I was visiting a friends new house out in the sticks tonight, I brought a finder chart and 10X50's just in case it cleared. Managed a quick look and found the comet as a bright fuzy patch. I did not see a tail either, but then I was not dark adapted, but it was good to see it.
Well done on Neptune in the 10X50's,
