Can I name a feature on the moon?
No? Well, I'm going to anyway.
I was observing the Lacus Mortis region early this morning, I had finished with Burg and moved south to the twin craters Plana and Mason. These are a pair of flooded craters that are separated by a triangular shaped piece of higher ground, as I looked at the pair the image of an owl's face came to mind, more specifically I could see the logo for the Odlum's flour company, remember it? The craters made the eyes and the higher ground the beak. Anyhow, the image was quite striking, now Plana has a central peak whereas Mason is smooth floored, so the owl is winking. Can I name this feature the Winking Owl?
I'm sure the IAU won't except it, but that's what it is to me.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.
