you have to, I had three scopes, binoculars, cameras and camcorder, all set up and ready to go.

No Driving for me.
I stayed at home. Some of the lads held a public observing session in tralee but clouded out also, although I think they managed some views of Saturn

Trevor, don't recognise that beer. Any good?
Views from Dublin were great. Though I dont know about it being a total eclipse, there were always some bright parts, on the nothern and later the eastern limb.
Heres one shot I took for parallax purposes so not too pretty, and no post processing. I count 27 stars here how 'bout you?
