I dont mean to sound greedy or rude

But any of you guys that live close to me (south Dublin) who are heading out to dark skies in Wicklow or where ever............... could you give me a call and pick me up on your way.

I dont drive so have no way of getting to dark sky observing loctions.

I'll contribute to your petrol bill.

If anyone is in my area is heading for a dark sky observation night...........and is kind enough to pick me up along the way

SDAS and IAS members meet regularly, infrequently, all the time. They post up notices here, but also keep in touch personally between each other for in-promptu sessions.

Also, I edited your post to remove your phone number. It's not advisable to give out such information publicly sometimes if you're not prepared to risk getting spam calls and the like. Exchange private information between each other via private messages.

Thanks Seanie i am gonna join the SDAS. It would be great to be able to get to dark skies................and not just be able to observe eastwards also.
