Clear Skies in SE!! Doubles beware... was created by Tonybwf
Hi all,
got some observing done last night even do there seem to be alot of haze in the sky/fog lower down....but overall i was happy with the night heres what i observed
Location: South-East Coast...Waterford Temp: 3c Cloud:2% AP:1034mb
Mars>Taurus Time:20.00
Saturn>Leo Time:21.00
Arneb>lepeus RA: 5H.80m/Dec -17.8192 Time:22.30
Arcturus>Bootes RA: 14H 15m 42s/Dec 19.1742 Time:22.46
Mirfak>Perseus RA 3H 24m 45s/Dec 49.8661 Time: 22.55
Merak>Ursa Major RA:11H 1m 84s/Dec 56.3830 Time:23.15
Dubhe>Ursa Major RA:11H 3m 85s/Dec 61.7439 Time:23.30
Mizar/Alcor>Ursa Major RA: 13H 24m 02s/Dec 54.9183 Time:23.45
Arcturus>Bootes: RA 14H 15m 77s/Dec 19.1742 Time: 00.00
Sirius>Canis Major RA 6H 45m 08s/Dec -16.5801 Time: 00.15
Had dew problems most of the night so kept a hair dryer handy so wasnt so bad time was against me so finished up around 00.30am, found Mars easier to view then Saturn which was hazy looking mars was good after bout 20mins..
I was using
Orion F/4.5 8" go to LXD75 mount
EP: 25mm 20mm 10mm
Celestron Sky-Scout
Celestron 15x70
Met-Check is giving it clear again tonight so back out for more and no work tommorow so it will be a long night :!:

ye i think i was maybe been on the coast helped......was still clear @ 6 this morning even do lower down was foggy!

Clear as can be here last night but indeed the air was saturated with moisture.
