Unknown object was created by pj30something
Tonight as i was driving home i caught sight of something almost in the corner of my eye traveling west to east. It vanished almost as soon as i saw it. There was a good break in the cloud at the time (6:50pm approx)........so i'm pretty sure it didnt vanish behind a cloud.
Bright enough to catch my eye. Meteor, debris from the shot down satellite?
Who knows.
lasted about a second.

There was no "fireball" thing going on that i saw in the fleeting moment i saw it so i have ruled out space debris....................unless it was a TINY piece.
But i think even the smallest part of the satellite would have a fireball look about it.
So indeed more then likely.............just a small meteor.
Its amazing what you see when you aint looking. I mean i could spend hours looking for meteors and not see one..................but when i aint looking...........sure enough i see one.
Kinda like waiting for a bus......................none come.............but when you are not waiting...................3 come.
Murphy's law i guess.
