Solar prom sketch 3/6/2008 was created by jeyjey
While the prom from the day before (the 6-frame sequence I did) was still visible and considerably brighter than this one, this one was presenting far more intricate detail. I studied both for awhile but since I only had time for a single sketch (and not a sequence) I decided to give the dimmer one a go.
Because this was a single frame I was able to use a larger scale for the sketch which I think helped a lot. I need to get some bigger paper for my next multi-frame sequence.

Very interesting.
I've never seen the Sun through a scope
so I can't comment on the sketch but it's making me want to
look at filters / coronados etc...
