skylux 70mm

Three cheers for Breezer's little 70mm refractor. I had a quick observing session with my little skylux last night. Normally for reasons of depression on a sunday night - with the impending end of the weekend I would not venture out with the Dob. Last night i did not want to waste some clear skys, so I brought out the refractor to have a look at Jupiter hanging low on the horizon. Could see some feature on the disc and 3 moons in a line. Looked at Andromoda and a few other easy targets like the double cluster in Persius. Anyway moral of the story. Ya don't have to bust yerself to do a little observing....and 20 minutes is better than nothing
