Just read through the whole train of steps you did there Jeff. I was struck by the similarity of what I would have to do when imaging. Sketching and imaging has some common points, none of which are easy.

I might have to get my feet just a little bit wet in that whole imaging thing soon -- I'd like to do some CaK solar viewing and my eyeballs don't appear to have it in them. I think I'll try video first, though, and leave the processing of image data for a later date.
