Was that image taken recently Jeff? If so, man you must be really high up to still have snow on the mountains in the middle of July.

Paul --

Last week. The lake is at about 12,600; the mountain peak behind it is 13,950.

Cheers,

Essentially no light pollution at all. Detailed Milky Way right down to the horizon, no light domes, clouds black all the way to the horizon. NELM 7+, M13 naked eye (averted), M24 direct vision right on the horizon.

SQM's usually around 21.8, although the other night it was a bit hazy and only got to 21.5.

Cheers,
-- Jeff.

Just read your report Jeff, nice stuff. The view from your photo looks awesome! Any cheap tours offered to the area? ;-)
