Theo - how often would you be able to image the sun from Athens?
If its often enough, you may be able to capture the (hopefully) increasing activity of the sun.
Nice website by the way. Can you tell me why your solar images are different colours? Is it dependent upon the band-pass?

When i return from the work and i am not exhausted i make observation.
Surely the weekend.
If the sun gives good phainomena i observed every day. This time the sun is very weak so ..........
when the seeing is bad i try to choose colours to give better details. The first images is to black and white. From there and after i choose other colours in proportion with seeing.
All the photograph equiqment is very cheap. Afocal images take with CANON. If you read the blog i have base without mechanism movement. All my power is the 3 coronado telescopes. Is the number one for solar observation. The images coming next. First the observation.
THe blog gives the number one phainomena of the day. It`s a simple amateur blog and i try to make it beautiful.
