Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Hi all
Isn't the weather great? So many nights to observe and so many opportunites to get some more sketches done.
Here's tonight's offering, I hope you like them.
NGC 1502
This is a gem of a cluster, the pair of pale yellow stars at the cluster's heart are a show piece pair and this cluster has to be on any observer's list.
NGC 1647
A big wide cluster in Taurus that was a pleasure to sketch.
NGC 1746
The anagram lover's NGC 1647, this is another large cluster in Taurus which displays a nice variety of varying magnitude stars.
M1
The Kidney Bean Nebula might also apply here, it didn't display any real shape, one portion looked sharp while another looked round. No details could be determined within the nebula, it displayed a uniform face.
I am attempting to sketch the Messier Catalogue, as best I can, the coming months are going to prove busy with Orion, Monoceros, Canis Major, Gemini and Lepus all in the sky, all it takes is a bad spell of weather to throw the schedule out the window and having to wait until next winter.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time.
Paul
