Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Hi all
Got the weather forecast, clear skies and the moon was due to set around midnight.
I set out around nine, got some lunar observing in and then got down to some sketches.
Hope you like them.
M41
A nice easy one to get me going, it's always nice to observe this wonderful cluster.
The Christmas Tree Cluster
I thought I spotted some nebulosity, but I wasn't sure.
NGC 2244
There's a nice yellow star on the edge of the cluster.
M93
This one doesn't get very high and I was hppy to capture it.
M48
A good sized cluster in Hydra that's well worth a visit.
In the course of the night I observed a variety of objects from Mars to M81/M82, The Owl Nebula and a galaxy I haven't seen in about 10 years, NGC 2903 in Leo, this is a fine spidle galaxy and I recommend you observe it.
Thanks for taking the time.
Paul
