Observation today under poor seeing.
The disk with very low magnetic energy.
Region 1069 leaving by the western limb.

but what a way to go.
+ 12"LX200, MK67, Meade2045, 4"refractor

Yea, the sun is soo quiet.
I had a look at the sun yesterday in white light (thousand oaks filter) and I have to say i didnt see anything worth noting.

I must admit this is my fault. Having recently purchased a PST I have ensured that solar activity will slow down for the customary period of 2 - 3 months

Those are fine images as always Theo.
I had a look at the sun in white light today and it was very quiet.
Loads more detail visible though with the other filters.
