Maybe I'm going nuts but is anyone in Dublin seeing Chinese lanterns in the sky? I'm seeing a few drifting from SW to NE over Raheny. The first one had me completely baffled - really looked like a powered, silent craft.

I seen somthing bright goin across the sky last week here in sligo, as i watched it i realised it was a chinese lantern, heard alot about these the last while and hadnt seen one til last week

yea, they can be very deceptive if you havent heard of them and you see one in the sky.

I was just in the shop a wee while back and what did I see for sale,
SKY LANTERNS, I couldnt resist, for 1.99euro,
this thing is 3ft high, ther will be some strange sightings over sligo tonight, lol :evil: :bigshock:
