Hi all,
I got a call from a member of the public that claimed they witnessed a fireball around 02:30hrs this morning in the southeast travelling south, very bright, blue-white in colour, seen from Newbridge. Has anyone else heard/seen anything? I couldn't find anything on the web earlier about this. They gave a good description of it, have a passing interest in astronomy and know how to tell Venus from the ISS from a fireball.
Seanie.

I was well and truly in the land of nod.
No doubt thousands of awestruck members of the public will be ringing this in. Oh wait, probably not. The annual event was last weekend...
