On The Moon With My Daughter

Hi all

I just had a pleasant couple of hours observing the moon with my 9 year old daughter. It was a really nice evening as I moved the scope around the moon and showed her different features and she asked me relevant questions.

The boys are lost causes, but fingers crossed that she will take up the hobby.

Thants really cool Paul, these are the memories you'll never forget! When she's all grown up and too cool to be hangin with her auld fella you'll look back and smile!

My son is only three, but loves when I point out the different objects in the sky. This morning, Venus looked lovely and when I told him what it is he stood stock still and looked up and then turned back to me and said "I love Venus dada". Kids are great!
