I was on my way home from work and I was looking at the moon and Jupiter was to the right. It was 16:49, Thursday, 8th November. There was another bright 'star' directly above the moon and I thought to myself, that it makes a nice triangle. Then I noticed the bright 'star' moving towards the north and then it started to dim. I followed it until it was too dim to see.
I have already tried the heavens-above site and the stellarium program, but I can't get any satellite at that position at that time. The closest I can get is the ariane 5 or the cosmos 1953 satellites but they are not in the same position that I seen this bright 'star'.
I would love to know what I saw.
Any suggestions?
