Hi,

A large sunspot observed and photographed. It has multiple umbrae. Also seen at unit power through the sunspot.

This large spot was clearly visible with just a solar filter today, better than yesterday.

Although the seeing was poorish (with the jetstream overhead), my new image (see my website; url in first post) gives an idea. Pronto used.

Is the weather bad, back in the old sod?

Wanted to get the h-alpha scope out but was rushing off to work :-(.
