Am very pleased to have had one of my solar sketches published by The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada
in their October Journal. Two copies arrived in the post this morning.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Nice one Deirdre.
The JRASC is an interesting journal - sort of straddling amateur and professional -
though more amateur. It appears to hold a nice little niche.
They allow free access after - I think - one year.
Back issues:-

I've dipped into the archive yonks ago and found some interesting articles - but don't remember seeing any academic papers - but that could be my failing memory.
You don't have to reside in Canada to be a member.
Again - good on ye Deirdre - nice accomplishment.
