Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Those are some amazing images Theo, do you know the size of this tornado?

That is thought provoking. I am not familiar with what is typical (or not) with regards to solar images. However, that is the first "tornado structure" that I have seen and I applaud you for capturing it.
Maybe others with solar imaging expertise could comment on whether this is significant or not. Paul's request for estimated size is a good request - if you can do that. If you know the arcsecs per pixel (plate scale) this can be calculated for the foot (or any other part of the "tornado").
Myself (or I'm sure many others) can help if needed - if you wanted to progress further.
An image with the same setup but of the limb (to judge curvature) is probably enough to progress.
