bagged PanStarrs K1

Spotted last night through the SE8, a diffuse yet obvious puff of light virtually overhead at midnight. Very close in fact to Alkaid, end star of the Plough, tonight and tomorrow. Not visible through 15x70s, to me at least.

Also bagged the beautiful M5, M92 (almost as impressive as M13 in my view) and, for the first time, the spiral masterpiece of M51. Now I know what captivated the noble Lord himself
