Cleaning planetary cameras (ASI120MM) was created by derek0207
Hi,
I've noticed some wierd our of focus darker spots on some areas of the image as I'm taking video of planets.
I find that I have to move the planet to a 'clean' part of the sensor to use it.
Anyone out there have any experience on cleaning an ASI120MM camera. Its the newer model with a window a few mm above the sensor. I dont know if the dust is on the window or the sensor.
I'd also like to have some way to test if its clean before using it?
Any advice would be great.
Thanks,
Derek

Ooops, I should read the manual...
www.zwoptical.com/software/ASI%20Camera%20user%20guide.pdf
There is a section on cleaning
