Hi all,
Thinking of buying a proper scope again. The 8 inch skywatcher dob looks very good, anyone got one? Live in apartment on 3rd floor with no lift so can't be too heavy etc. Sky at Night Mag gave it 93% in review, so must be good. Your feedback would be helpful.....

Hi Neil
I don't have the 8" but I do have a 12" dob which is not to bad to transport (truss tube though) . I don't think you can go far wrong with the 8" Skywatcher and a few nice eyepieces.

Hi Neill,
I have the flextube version of that scope. It is very manageable and gives excellent views. It's easy to transport and set-up.
Michael.

Decided to buy the Skywatcher, collecting it this weekend, so the next 2 weeks of cloudy skies are my fault!

Enjoy. Nothing like the excitement of getting a new scope.
Now for the rain.........
