These look like good prices though considering they come with a Barlow and 9*50 finderscope - am I right?

from the spec sheet it looks like the do. you should pm wallymee he uses this site so he would be able to tell you as he is one half of andromeda optics.

Hi charles,
If I were a cloud fanatic, then this would be the country to live in, as an astronomer, its hard going.
Every now and then I do haul the 12" scope out but I find that I'm using it less often as its just too heavy to be hauling around, just as well I'm building the observatory, more like Dave Bell is.
Once this is built, I'll get much more use out of it.
I also find the little ETX is very handy as a grab and run scope, although I use the 102mm scope for for fainter objects
