Why can't it be as easy as buy all parts..stick them in a tube and hey presto..you have a scope.

My focuser is top left..Dont know if it willbe long enough.. I am sure that it should be no problem to make a piece to extend focuser out 1".
Must have a look at that program. I have had a brief look at the book you gave me..It is fairly theoretical alright. I knew there was a reason I dropped physics in college

All the ATM bits have arrived, I now own an 8" dob.....all I have to do is put it together, one of my first tasks will be to make a mirror cell for primary..anybody have any links or info on how to make a simple mirror cell for someone who has not had a lot of experience around a saw.
