Should have something Bill - it might be very rudimentary though. In fact, if you can (?) find out if its possible to focus the LPI with it...
If this doesn't work out for you, I have a 70mm Skylux sitting here you can borrow. It has a mounting plate but you might have to get creative in piggybacking it. I can help you there after successfully mounting the ETX70.
Good optics, crap focuser but once you nail it, you can get some lovely images for a 70 quid scope.
Keep us in the picture on the journey (puns intended...)
Cheers

Thanks Dave McD 458, I've sent a load of questions off to the seller. I expect I shall get a reply this evening.

Perhap because light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

The Finderscope turns out to have a rudimentary focus. The eyepiece is slid in and out to achieve focus, while this may be OK as a fucus mechanism in a finderscope, I think it may cause dificulty in focusing with the LPI or DSI in this manner.Should have something Bill - it might be very rudimentary though. In fact, if you can (?) find out if its possible to focus the LPI with it...

Hi Bill - If all elese with this finder is OK then I wonder if would be possible to attach a helical focuser to it to give you the precisie focus you need?
Is there ever an easy choice/decision in this hobby?
Cheers
