Orion's 'starshoot' camera was created by eansbro
I came across the new Orion 'starshoot colour camera on
www.telescope.com
.
The price appears to be a bargain for a thermolectric cooled camera $399. There are some pics on there site, but I would like to see others.

I wonder why they call it TEC (thermoelectric cooling) instead of the more commonly seen "Peltier"? Are there other forms of thermoelectric cooling?
Certainly looks interesting....

Peltier cooling is the only method I have heard of.
I'd imagine that Orion are saying thermoelectric cooling since they can make a TLA from it and is more or less self explanatory.

Everyone in Ireland buys Meade, and they all buy them from Lidl.
