but what a way to go.

Interesting,
This is one I havent used before, at first glance it looks similar to skymap.
I was expecting that they would have included cartes du ciel or starry night 3.1 etc...

It's the full version John and has a very comprehensive list of deep sky objects to my knowledge. All the Messier objects are there and a shed load of NGC's. It starts with 47 Tucanae and finishes with Zeta Sculptoris Cluster with what appears to be about 500-600 objects in between, all searchable. Just checked online and it's $30 to purchase it (although I'm sure it's generally "shared") so I suppose the Aldiscope has already paid back half of its value :lol:
