Perhap because light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
Lidl Binoculars. was created by lionsden
Have just been onto the Lidl website. It appears they are selling 10x50 binoculars again. As per usual, they're very scant with details so I've no idea what brand they are, or whether they're any good or not. Can't really make it out from the picture either.

Well the one thing I can tell from that picture is that they are not the same as the meade ones they sold last year (which is a real pitty).

Just did a little snooping and good news, they're actually Bresser's with Bak-4 prisms. Should be just as good as last year's Meades. They're also on sale in the U.K. and they have a little more detail.

If they're as good as the Meades, then YES! and for € 20, you can't really go wrong. They'd be a nice little Christmas gift for anyone starting out (even a six year old niece )

Might get two then! Shame they're twice the price of the UK ones when it should be nearer 1.5 times... I'll get her mum to byuy the nieces pair in Liverpool
Thanks for the heads-up by the way!
Cheers
