This is an eclipse telescope1 I saw this in sky at night a few months back and it got a great review! They gave one away for free! Its aparrent retail value(according to sky at night) is £1200 Sterling! Also it is t threaded so its also just like a mak-telelens!

Thats the bidding price! The 'buy it now' price is £300 sterling which is a little more realistic! It would be an amazing deal if you bought the scope and it arrived to you!

Actually I found these guys have a website;

www.astrophoto.co.uk/scopes.htm

and offer the 6"mak (OTA only) for 289STG. Now that is a decent price for a 6" mak. I dont know how good these are but if they're up to the same standard as say the, skywatcher/orion range then that would add up to an extraordinary bargain. This would make a fine imaging scope for someone on a budget.

PS pity they dont do anything bigger, I'd sell my granny for a 10" mak
