I did not subscribe to this Astronomy forum to get messages about warm blankets,thank you very much.

All humour aside, the blanket could be used to prevent yourself freezing to death on a cold night, especially on something like a meteor watch, you just need to be careful with the power.
BTW, we try keeping a good sense of humour around here, it helps get over the lousy weather.
