T-Ring/T-Adaptor was created by Neill
Hi all,
As you may or may not know, I now have a Canon 350D. What attachments/adaptors do I need to get to be able to attach the camera to the scope to image? Is it a t-adaptor?
Thanks
Neill

You need both, the T-Mount is specific to the camera and T-adapter is specific to the telescope.
The T-Mount connects the camera to the T-Adapter and the T-adapter connects on to the scope.
Jessops is best place to get a T-Mount, should be around €20, as for the T-Adapater, that depends on your scope.

Hi Neill,
You did not specify what type of telescope you were using.
You need a Camera Adapter and a T-Ring.
The Camera adapter is a tube that connects to you scope, you will need to
specify (usually) 2 inch, 1.25 inch or Schmitt-Cassegrain for most popular
types of scope. At the other end of the tube it has a male T-Thread.
The T-Ring (sometimes called a T-Mount)is a specific for each camera, you will need one for your own camera. Good Camera Shops carry them.
